The Jupiter Cloud Book Festival is organised by Romy Morgan; an LGBT author and independent publisher. After attending several events as an author, she noticed a lack of affordable and accessible book events in the North of England; so she decided to create her own.
The Jupiter Cloud Book Festival welcomes all types of author, bookish business, and visiting booklover. The festival provides a place for authors to meet their readers and sell and sign their books directly, and for booklovers to discover new books that they otherwise wouldn't have heard of.
Books are definitely as popular as ever, but with the prominent Bookstagram and BookTok communities, it's easy to simply read the books that are trending online. However, there is an endless world of new authors and books waiting to be your new favourites. At the Jupiter Cloud Book Festival, we don't have the big tending books, but we do have a treasure trove of hidden gems AND their authors who would love to chat to you about them! If that's not enough, we also have a wide selection of vendors selling bookish gifts and treats at each festival.
The best thing about buying from the Jupiter Cloud Book Festival is that each book bought directly from the authors gives more royalties to the talented writers, rather than to the big companies! Plus, what better way to discover new stories than from the person who brought it to life? You might just get it signed too...
